In her salad days, with OreoSerene Jr. and I had a nice visit today with J, T and baby RR. Since we were in the area, I swung by For Other Living Things in Sunnyvale. They have lots of great specialty pet stuff. I bought adult rat lab blocks and a jar of organic rodent treats (I know, I know, but it's not like they have an equivalent jar of non-organic treats. I told you this was a specialty store). I also bought Cupcake a brand new Cozy Cup with a red lining.
I got home and The Serene One had some bad news. Cupcake passed away while I was out. The little one made it just past 2 years, which is pretty good for a rat. I'm already missing her a lot.
