
Good ol' Spurgeonblog has pointed out a photographer named Mike Stimpson who is recreating famous works in lego. He's also very generously included photographs of his set-ups too:

The set-up shot for Behind the Gare Saint-Lazare is pretty neat. Rubber bands and a tiny amount of water can look so classy in black and white.
I feel a bit ignorant because there are quite a few works that I don't recognize. There are also a few photos I'm not sure ought to be recreated. Hmmmm...
Finally, he's got a great collection of plain old fun shots, like Indiana Jones and Star Wars stuff. I love people who are freakishly obsessed with something and really good at it too! :)
