An Ohm to Happiness

I read this blurb in Consumer Reports last week:

People become less neurotic and more content as they age, according to a brain-imaging study published in June 2006. Key regions of the brain tend to become less resistant to happiness and better able to control fear. Those changes encourage enhanced stability and wellbeing - and might explain why people score increasingly lower over time on tests measuring neurotic traits such as anxiety and hostility.

I hope this is true! I definitely know some people that are able to find happiness everywhere. Others need to practice, practice, practice. I loved the line about becoming "less resistant to happiness." Just imagine, a little resistor in the circuit of happiness! Ha ha.

I can see a cute little resistor dancing around.
