Wodent Wheels and Printers

Oreo and Cupcake are growing quickly and have arrived in adolescence. This morning, they both ran into the printer and hid out inside. The Serene One heard a distinct "twanging" noise but they did not come out covered in ink like Sparky's first expedition. Of course, Sparky wandered in while we were actually printing something. She got caught as the print cartridge was returning to the cartridge bay. I heard a squeak and turned to see a tail disappear quickly into the printer. We managed to get her out, but her feet were covered in ink and she made little black paw prints across The Serene One's hands before we got her into the sink.

I've assembled a little barricade across the printer paper opening. Felt like singing a little Les Miz as the two rats tried to get around it:

We also upgraded the exercise wheel. Oreo and Cupcake are roughly the same length as the diameter of the baby wheel. They were doing backbends to get into it. Here is Oreo in the ultra-safe "Wodent Wheel." See here for details on design and development. I really, really want to hook up a Wodometer!

The Wodent Wheel looks like so much fun! You can hook them up to the TV.

Wodent Wheel for one is very safe. But for two rats, it's more challenging when one stick his head out of the hole while the other one spins the wheel.
