Darts and Scrabble

Mr. Man holds a dart tournament every year in his garage. There is a testosterone and estrogen division, as well as a scrabble tournament for those who don't like to play darts. Three guesses as to which tourney I play in.

Although I say it's held in a garage, it's more like a dart amphitheatre. There is a bar running down one side of the room, five dart boards, an array of spotlights, walls of trophies, plaques and framed posters, flags hanging from the rafters and a fog machine. It is an incredible production and I love going to see the newest upgrade.

This year, Mr. Man acquired a bulletproof (therefore dartproof) circular light to surround the finals dartboard. It was incredible. He debuted it after dinner by lowering it from the ceiling. We all sat in the dark and he flipped the switch. We were bathed in a holy light as he stood by it to introduce the final two matches of the evening.

I can't wait until next year!

Cool dartboard. Sometime I wonder if I should get a regular dartboard.
