- Focus only on yourself
- Purposeless living (wasting your time: watching TV, daydreaming, etc.)
- Live an unhealthy life (overeating, using stimulants, etc.)
- Be negative
- Fail to notice what others do for you

The 5 week class is drawing to a close. There was some crunchy-granola stuff, but overall, it's been good. The emphasis is on "personal responsibility, realistic thinking and acting, and the cultivation of awareness of our interdependence."
The familiar question:
If you had one year to live, what would you do?
gets turned into:
You have to apply to live for another year. Justify your life extension using a list of things you would do over the next year.
In other words, it's not about me. Cool.
