I'm in charge of my team's offsite this quarter. Some people have been advocating lunch and a movie for the event, but I thought we should do something more social.
Another suggestion was to take a limo to Napa and wine taste. I said, social, but not that social. I like you guys, but I have limits. Being trapped in a car for 3 hours with slightly inebriated co-workers is one of them.
Real Life Triathlete blogged about a cool scavenger hunt that her team played in San Francisco. It sounded fabulous, but I'm worried it will blow the budget. Additionally, it's a pretty active game. My team's last event was bowling and we ended up with one sore back and three wrist injuries.
I'm leaning towards a photographic scavenger hunt. This website, called 26 things, inspired me. The key is to choose interesting words, like "2" or "round." Hopefully we'll get some creative responses to look at over lunch.

This looks like fun, and honestly the clues that people enjoyed most on our scavenger hunt were the creative ones anyway. Have a good time whatever you decide to do!
