Got a Valentine's Day flyer from Godiva Chocolatier today. There is a drawing for $1 Million in diamonds as well as a one year supply of Godiva chocolates.
Since I am a neurotic about these things, I read the fine print:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Game ends 2/21/07. Open to U.S. and Canadian residents 18 years of age or older. Blah Blah. Skill test required for Canadian residents. [my emphasis] Prizes must be claimed by 9/30/2007.
What on earth? I went to the website to find out what this "skill test" was. No details were posted. I am deeply intrigued.

oh dear... i am definitely going to mock my (few) canadian friends for this one! :-P
Intrigued me as well. Following a hunch with a bit of Google-fu turned up this page. Huh.
I hope that it is a chocolate eating contest.
Lady M - That's what I was thinking.
Mazurka - Interesting....
Lara - Indeed. I have to ask my Canadian co-workers if what Mazurka turned up is true!
A quiz will go like this for the Canadians.
You opened a box of Godiva chocolates, and you counted 16 pieces. It seems that there is another layer underneath.
Question:
How many pieces of chocolate must you eat before you can lift the base of the first layer without spilling chocolates all over?
