It's dress your professional week, and the results are funny. Most of the men (except Chuck!) added a lot of clothing to their partners. I loved Lawrence's comment: "Edyta is allergic to clothing."
Melissa - Argentine Tango
Tony's stepping up with the choreography. It was nicely put together. The most clothing I've ever seen Tony wear! Usually he's showing off his chest.
I am, however, reminded of one of my teachers talking about how it should look when you're dancing Argentine Tango: like walking through a pool with weights. There should be a lot of power and gravity propelling you. As BiL says, the judges have no expertise here so they can't offer useful criticism.
Lawrence Taylor - Waltz
Never seen Edyta wearing so much clothing!:) Very respectable.
Lil Kim - Rumba
So close to awesome, but not there. Liked the windmill arm twist.
Chuck Wicks - Samba
Good music. I was expecting a train wreck and this was surprisingly watchable. Julianne's fringe dress was really cute.
Ty - Waltz
He's back! Elegant, relaxed and he even smiled once or twice. It was a pleasure to watch, unlike the previous two weeks where I was watching through my fingers and cringing.
Strawberry Wine was a great song choice. Chelsie hid a lot of Ty's weaknesses well.
Loved how Ty said, "We're doing [standard] ballroom again, which is a lot of holding on. I'm good at holding on." I also loved the bronco move in the 60's group number. Ha!
Shawn Johnson - Cha-Cha
The cutest choreography ever! A lot of side by side choreography, which is really tough. You can't rely on your partner to help you through it, and mistakes are obvious.
Gilles - V Waltz
Pleasant, not my favorite. Excellent execution, as always. Something about Cheryl's dress looked very amateurish. Was it the fabric or the fit?
