Highlights from the Oscars: first and foremost, the "Von Trapp Family" introduction.
Ang Lee's 2nd Oscar for best directing was a delightful surprise to me. Sis highlighted this essay that he wrote after winning his first Oscar and I was really touched reading it. Hat tip to Irene Shih on the translation!
Adele's performance was stunningly good. She totally deserved that
Oscar. Funny that she had to be talked into writing it. The
Chicago/Les Mis live numbers were awesome. See the clips here.
