Elementary Hits The Big Time

Elementary is still flying high in my book. It was nice to see the introduction of what I hope will be New York City's version of the Baker Street irregulars. Moriarty looks like he will haunt Holmes from afar.

Aidan Quinn got to show off some acting chops this week with a wall of fury and a swift punch in the gut (literally). Holmes totally deserved it.

I'm still ridiculously touched to see a leading Asian American character on television. The party question "what celebrity do you look like?" is incredibly non-inclusive for Asians but at least my sister can be confident that people will know Lucy Liu when she answers.

The coolest news of all? Elementary has hit the *really* big time. A special episode will be on directly after the SuperBowl tomorrow. Woot!

We just watched this episode tonight. Fun! I liked Lucy's red flared skirt peeking below her jacket.

Did you hear? Warner Bros. named its new CEO - first Asian American to head a Hollywood studio!
