LJC was in town for a conference this week, so I had the pleasure of meeting up with her along with Lady M, Auntie Fafa and Little K.
It's funny when you meet up with fellow bloggers. First, you have to get over the fact that you are, in fact, meeting a stranger from the internet. In this case, LJC had already met Lady M a few times and met me in Chicago, so the possibility that any of us were axe murderers was significantly diminished.
Second, you already have a baseline of knowledge so there's no warm-up period when you first meet. You launch instantly into updates like "How's so and so?" or "How's that project going?" rather than "What do you do in your spare time?" The waiter even said he was having a hard time getting our attention because the conversation was so fast and furious.
Good times!

Agreed - it's so easy to "catch up" rather than introduce oneself, when you've been reading each other.
