Playdough Skills

Went to a fun Aloha-themed bridal shower for L this weekend. Unfortunately, the blushing bride was recovering from a bout of food poisoning from the night before so I didn't get to spend as much time with her as I would have liked.

The hosts went all out with leis, Hawaiian music, tiki masks, snacks in canoes, and some creative games. This is the first time I've actually done the "bridal dress out of toilet paper game" and we also got to participate in a storytelling activity using the names of candy.

The most challenging game involved sculpting words out of playdough. Each person was assigned an word and a small can of playdough. Once we finished our creations, we had to guess what the items were. It was fun to see the 3-D vs. 2-D decisions.

See if you can guess a few from this pic:

No. 3 is a cake and no. 4 is a bouquet of flowers. Real Life Triathlete did a nice job with the wedding toast below:
The limo and the doves turned out nicely too. The pink cone on the right hand side stumped a lot of us. Turns out it was a kiss!
