Spielberg, Peter Jackson and TinTin

When I first saw this trailer, I thought it was live action until about 30 seconds in. It was *that* good. After reading the re-cap of the TinTin panel from Comicon, I realize that it probably could have looked even more realistic, but they deliberately emulated the look of the original drawn characters. I can't say the storyline intrigues me at all, but the panel discussion and the fact that Spielberg pretty much shot this by hand is fascinating.

Take some time and meander through the re-cap. Entertainingly written stuff. I like the Playstation shooting comment, the appearance of Peter Jackson, then Andy Serkis and then the t-shirt.
