BTW, I saw a listing of ways you can donate to disaster relief and I noticed "Doctors Without Borders" on this list. Made me think. Shouldn't Engineers Without Borders be over there? It's not that the technical expertise isn't there. It's just the sheer number of issues they are dealing with. The Dutch should send over their levee/flooding experts and we should just be throwing nuclear engineers on the plane. And is there an engineering discipline around volcanoes? :P
