I managed to get some fuzzy shots of the first act with my point-and-shoot. I had it on Manual with the ISO cranked to 1600. Would appreciate any comments on how to make the shots less grainy. I wasn't sure if I should have used one of the auto settings, like "night time" or "kids&pets" instead.
The first performer on the ice, Michael Weiss:
He had a great harmonica and percussion number in the second act. Loved that.Got to see Joannie Rochette skate live for the first time. She won the Olympic bronze in 2010.

Todd Eldredge did a Frank Sinatra "My Way" number that was very light hearted. I like how he's stretching creatively.

Ekaterina Gordeeva has gone blonde! It took me half way through the opening group number before I figured out who she was.

Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto were so nice to see live. I loved their vampire flamenco in the second act (my camera battery ran out before then).

Evan Lysacek did a nice number with Gordeeva and Jamie Salé. I like it when they mix it up and do these ensemble pieces:

Sasha Cohen was gorgeous as always. Her Mein Herr number in the second act as well as a neat clown trick with a red balloon were well executed.
This yellow dress was so beautiful:
The big highlights for me were seeing Kurt Browning back on the ice and Canadian pairs skaters Jamie Salé and David Pelletier. Kurt is such a performer. He can really nail the emotional part of the performance. As for Jamie and David, ahhh. They make it look so easy.

Thanks Lady M and SwingDaddy for the treat!
