SYTYCD and Castle Tidbits

Nigel Lythgoe, one of the judges (and exec producers) of So You Think You Can Dance, has been tweeting daily bombshells about the next season of the show. Here's the latest:

First rule change. Only one dancer will leave the competition each week and not two. Many more changes to come by the end of this week. 8:19 AM Mar 24th via Echofon

He is such a tease, but it's working. I'm very interested to see how the show operates in the new season!

As for Castle, the first half of the two-part serial killer special was really good. I'm looking forward to this coming Monday's conclusion. Two fun pieces in the news:

- There is now an unofficial "Castle Fashion" blog called Real Detectives Wear Heels that hunts down all of Kate Beckett's cool clothes. I need to find myself a similar Bones site.

- James Gunn (sci-fi/horror filmmaker) did a totally unofficial twitter poll of the celebrities most desired for a one-night stand (Watch out, some mildly risque photos of the winners.) Obviously, his fans are a bit skewed to the sci-fi side of things. David Boreanz (Angel, Bones) and Chris Pine (the new Captain Kirk) made it in the top 19 along with Mr. Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz). The ladies were a little less skewed to nerd-dom. Some of those photos though--do they blush when their parents see them? Whew.

Anyway, the No. 1 girl? Zooey Deschanel. The No. 1 guy? Surely you can guess.
