Through some miraculous act, The Serene One procured a Wii Fit for me as promised many months ago for our anniversary. Previously, I had been Wii Fiting vicariously through Christopher Saul's posts. The best one was when he discovered that the Wii Yoga was noticeably improving his balance.
After three weeks of working out on the balance board, my back is in much better shape. I hate doing regular yoga. The Wii game has cues that make a difference in the amount of suffering I do when I hold a pose. First, I get continuous feedback; my balance is tracked during the pose by a moving red dot. I usually forget to breathe when I'm holding a pose, so the visual and audio breathing cues are great.
The best part of owning a Wii Fit has been watching my parents playing with it. They were visiting last week and got totally hooked. They rock at the Hula Hoop. I can't wait to see how they do in the Lotus Focus game--it's where you try to achieve inner peace while sitting crosslegged on the balance board.

Cool - I hope you have fun with it. I'm still using mine regularly. Mrs Saul even bought me a yoga mat to make it more comfortable when lying on the floor sticking my legs in the air!
Mr. Saul, I'm so honored you dropped by! I can't believe how many fun Wii Fit accessories there are. My Christmas list won't be hard to write this year.
